They really don't freak about the coach speak...
They dislike the coach so it becomes an avenue to create Everest out of an ant hill. For those who hate Bronco, it honestly doesn't matter what comes out. For example, in this case Bronoc, the original poster, intentionally cut off the quote in midstream. He did it for a purpose. His purpose was met. What Bronco said, every coach in America has said...and they all believe. Heck, it's basic sports psychology 101. But it really doesn't matter...because it's not the words, it's the man they freak out about. He rubs them the wrong way so they follow the baser instincts of human nature, create strawmen, and then burn them in effigy. It's simply a means to an end and context, proportionality...even right and wrong don't really matter. They hate, so they create reasons to hate.

Yea...no one has ever tried to make lemonade out of lemons in the entire history of sports.

If you can't accept losing, you can't win. Vince Lombardi

Losing has value precisely because winning has value. In all great endeavors—in all great victories and accomplishments—there is a lot of losing.

We always learn more from the losing than the winning.~ Yani Tseng

That’s what learning is, after all; not whether we lose the game, but how we lose and how we’ve changed because of it and what we take away from it that we never had before, to apply to other games. Losing, in a curious way, is winning.
~ Richard David Bach

There are some defeats more triumphant than victories.~ Michel de Montaigne

If you never lose, then you can never appreciate the victories.~ Laura Twitchell

A champion is suppose to hate to lose, and it wasn’t like I was ever crazy about the idea. But I learned to deal with losing without having my spirit or confidence broken, which would help immensely over time, not just in the big picture but even in specific matches when I found myself in a jam. Fear of losing is a terrible thing. ~ Pete Sampras
