Doesn't even make sense that they would take one team from the South and one from the West. They will go either West for two or East/South for two. If it is perceived that a lack of a CCG cost them a team in the playoff, they will make an appeal for a CCG with 10 teams before they jump to expansion. There is tons of $$$$ involved. They don't want to share with two more teams. I'm quite certain that the P5 conferences that jump to expansion, especially the ones that went to 14 are regretting it and wish they could toss 2 or 4 overboard. If the B12 were able to get a waiver for a 10 team CCG, don't you think the PAC12 would wish they could put a bullet in the heads of the yewts and Buffaloes?

The whole P5 conference alignment situation is a mess when it comes to a playoff system. The conferences that get left out are going to scream foul. Everyone is going to explode when the SEC gets two of the four spots. It is going to be fun to watch.

Major conference restructuring is just around the corner. When that happens, I predict we will be in and the yewts will be out...
