BYU's schedule is weak. It wasn't thinly veiled at all.
I'm not saying it's BYU's fault. They got the best schedule they could get, but it's weak.
2004 wasn't the strongest schedule for us and we had to cheer for our opponents to do well...Well, that and beat every team by at least 17. Even then, if there was a 4-team playoff in 2004 we would have been left out (we were #5 going into bowl season) and Texas and L'ville would have been picked over us anyway (even though they were behind us in the polls).
The fact is, BYU has an upward struggle because of their schedule. I made an innocuous post about that and I am sorry it hurt your feelings.
