We're (almost) definitely not going to the playoff this year unless a LOT of top teams lose a LOT of games, which I don't see happening. However, an undefeated season will tell us a few things - this team has the players, and it is also coming together and they are playing a unified game. We'll know they have the mental toughness to not psych themselves out when the pressure is on. I could see it setting us up nicely for a great 2015 season, and getting us into a New year's bowl as well. Going undefeated this season would be a sign of BYU getting over a hump we've been maddeningly close to but haven't crossed.
