I don't think he needs to worry about this Saturday. Looking back since we went independent we opened the 2012 Season against Washington State on a Thursday night and only had 57,045 in attendance. A fair amount less than we had last Thursday, but I don't think as many fans cared to see a game against them. A big problem with Thursday games is some students have classes or work late on Thursday or early on Friday and don't want to be out until 11 and get no sleep. Unless the school decided to cancel all classes during game time and an hour or two before, I don't see Thursday night numbers ever being as high as a Friday or Saturday game.
