Agreed. It was an amazing experience to see him play live
I had student seating between the 45's (where the big donor section is now on the east side). Those were the days.

There wasn't endzone seating yet, and for the big games, people would pile onto the hill on the north side of the stadium (or was it the south - sux getting old - you can't remember everything). At the end of Jim's senior year, they brought the bulldozers in to break ground for adding the endzones. Makes me almost think we can also attribute the stadium expansion to him...

Does anyone remember that year, I think it was against Colorado, where McMahon got hurt (was it a late hit?) and the crowd cheered? (I've always thought that Colorado was a nice match with the yewts - they do have a lot in common).

FYI - McMahon is around 55 years old. Reggie Jackson (aka Mr. October and wore #9 playing for Oakland) is around 70. Hard to believe.

McMahon was a player. One of a kind in many ways.
