Getting into the playoff depends a whole lot more on 1) how teams like Texas, Virginia, and Cal do and 2) how many losses the top teams have and to whom. I guarantee that will make a much bigger difference than whether we beat Cal by 7 or 21 or beat Utah State by 20 or 40.
