When you're not sure you can necessarily outrun someone, you are tentative

in trying to figure out a way to juke him out. If the guy runs full-steam towards the angle, Blackmon could've given him a little push (using the momentum against him) and run the ball on in. That's what I'm thinking was going on. He knew he couldn't outrun him, he was trying to figure out how to score around him.
