He is actually applying to West Point and Rice. There is a chance that he could walk on at West Point if he got admitted because their football roster is in excess of 100 players, but Rice would be difficult because they loosen the academic standards quite a bit for football players. He may be able to get on the roster at West Point and/or Rice, but I don't think he would ever see the field.
