I think fans are overreacting because he ISN'T one of those guys, acting like it's the end of the world and we totally blew it getting him. Players have vouched for him being one of the fastest, if not the fastest on the team. And you don't have to be an exercise physiologist to see that wasn't good, fluid running. That being said, if true, and very possible, that's your personal responsibility to get ready before games and be ready to go. If it's an injury, ok. If it's just a lack of preparation, that needs to be fixed.
So many people seem to be set on creating an enemy out of either Juergens or Blackmon and it's pathetic. Both of them are now leading the team in long receptions. Some people are just dead set against one of them for some reason. A few people on here actually go out of their way to bring up the most negative plays over and over. I think we don't know what to do with ourselves now that we're 4-0 after so many years in a row of complaining.
As for you, I hope you and the rest of us end up either happy or pleasantly surprised with him. You seem like you're upset that he isn't Thomas. Not many, if any, ARE. And that's fine. Even without it, he's still a talent that BYU rarely sees. Hopefully we get the best out of him for two years. And hopefully the rest of the crew does well too.
