I already agreed that winning makes a difference.
BYU had a couple of losses by the time the Wisconsin and Notre Dame games came around...huge viewership for those games.
Three points and them I'm done:
1) BYU is more popular than Utah.
2) Utah needs BYU more than BYU needs Utah.
3) Winning solves everything (for both schools).
