Somewhat. I'll be surprised if at least 1 of Murray State, Oregon State, Valpo,
or Drake are not Top 75-100 RPI. Very possible that 2 of them are top 100 RPI. I don't know enough about their specific rosters to say, but just going by the fact that each of these schools (with the exception of Oregon State since the early 1990's) has a Top 75ish RPI season from time to time.
I'm not saying that Portland or USF will be an NCAA team by any stretch. Just that USF, and to a bit lesser extent Portland, will be Top 100 teams IMO, and they may be on the bubble at some point. In the end, I think it's more probable than not that they end up in the NIT.
