that I have no problem with that play being run. But I think it should be used on crucial plays or red zone plays and not throw away downs like 1st down. I don't see a purpose in adding more wear and tear and the risk of injury to TH on a play that isn't as important as many other plays. You have the entire playbook to choose from on the first play, and they decide to run a play that puts the QB at risk, for what? The odds of him "taking it to the house" on 1st and 10 from their own 20 is extremely low, even for TH.

I don't think even RA ran the play expecting him to take to the house.
