Well, Stew has won an NCAA tournament game as an underdog

As a 12 seed in 2001 (yes a long time ago, but it has happened contrary to what you stated). And 4 wins in the CIT Tournament before losing in the championship game to Mercer. Yes, that's certainly a lesser tournament, but still a "national. post. season. game."

And I might add, that's something that Dave Rose has never done at BYU (winning as lower seed).
