It's what he doesn't do that makes him valuable...
...he doesn't have a map on the wall with colored push pins to keep track of recruits.
He doesn't have to text using his thumbs. Facebook is old hat to him. The guy doesn't operate in the 90's and probably doesn't even use a fax machine. His office is probably his car (or where ever he happens to be in the moment, football field, airport, mall, etc) and his network is his cellphone and the car's bluetooth computer system. The guy is a modern day salesman and really good at it.
