If Bronco named me DC tomorrow, I would probably stay up all night working on game plans too. But I would also suck. Even worse than Howell. Very few people can be an effective DC at the d1 level. It's not just hard work, it takes a knack and it takes talent. Bronco is one of the few. By not being DC he takes away the only strength he really brings to the table as a HC.
