I lost respect for Bronco when he called out BYU fans challenging his
team's ultra conservative play that set up Texas for a win in 2011 "Pharisees and Sadducces." Thereafter, his arrogance has only manifested itself in many different ways in various occasions. Prior to that, I just thought Bronco was a bit disengaged and naive, like the way he choked on multiple occasions in the national spotlight in 2009 (FSU and TCU home embarrassments come to mind) (even then, it was clear that FSU and TCU knew exactly what BYU was going to do defensively on every play). Bronco loves to play the role of "holier than thou" and deflects blame by either speaking as Robocoach or by scolding fans. As for his post game comments last night, was Bronco subtly suggesting that the players could not come back and win the game because they were distracted by all the fans leaving the stadium? And it wasn't just an off the cuff comment. Bronco made a point of jumping in before a break and calling out the fans. It was ridiculous, even childish.
