The rest of us, it seems, are more interested in having a pi$$ing contest about who makes more as an independent HC or a Power 5 DC. Here is my answer to the original question: I do not think that he would leave Utah to take a HC position at BYU. I think that he has his eyes on a HC position but I also think that he genuinely loves and respects Whittingham and wants to ride this out with him and the Utah program. I think that he feels that if they can dig their way out of the doldrums that was years 2011-2013 that his stock will rise enough that he can take a lower tier Power 5 team and make it his own. Just my thoughts and in no way indicative of what might really happen.
