I don't have an opinion about you at all
The only points I am bringing up is in direct response to your posts. A couple of posts ago you talked about the defense struggling. There is no doubt the defense was struggling. We couldn't get any pressure on the QB, and we had issues against the pass. Now we are playing with less talented folks and you somehow expect the results to change. If our best players were not able to do something why would our second/third string be able to do it better? We have lost almost all of our experienced leadership in key positions on both sides of the ball, if that happens your team is going to struggle, it doesn't matter if you are Vince Lombardi, if you lose the athletes BYU has over the past few weeks, the dynamic on your team is going to change and you are going to have to find a new identity.

The problem I see with all of the folks who are calling for Bronco's head is that nobody is willing to give any leeway for the losses we have had. Everyone knew we would be in trouble if Taysom went down, let alone Jamaal, yet everyone seems shocked when after 2 days of preparation BYU struggles offensively against Central Florida. We lost our defensive captain in Bills along with our best linebacker in Fua, other linebackers are playing injured, we started a player as a linebacker who just a few months ago was a running back for another team, our defensive backfield is a patchwork of players being relied upon because that is who we have whether they are playing hurt or not, and you seem surprised they aren't playing great football. Yes there are coaching issues, but to pretend it is all the coaches fault and ignore the facts that our team has changed greatly in the past few weeks is naive.

You were the one who brought up that our depth isn't on a power conference level, my point is it never has been. With the challenges BYU has with the honor code and affiliation with the LDS church it isn't going to get the elite athletes in the world. Some of our starters are on the level of the power conferences but our backups are not.
