This ain't the 80's where we had some players on steroids and different recruiting situations.

It's gonna be very, very , very difficult for BYU to ever win another NC. Period. Impossible? No, just insanely improbable.

If BYU got some more 5 star recruits at key positions-maybe a top-10 class or two, maybe. Stars I'm afraid DO MATTER to some degree.

That's why ALabama is the juggernaut they are. Look at the classes of talent and depth that they have there...

BYU has come close to being undefeate I know-like 2001 (almost), and 2006, but that's only 2x in a decade type thing apparently.

They might be able to do it next year if Taysom is healthy AND AND AND BYU actually gets back to being good on defense.

BYU's not gonna beat the Nebraska's ansd ECU's and whoever else that is a solid opponent next year with the way this D is playing...
