Something's changed this year
It used to be that Bronco-led teams would steamroll below-average programs and lose to clearly better teams. Now we're getting beaten by below average teams and even in our wins, we're making pedestrian QBs look like All Americans (and this was supposed to be our most talented, deepest secondary in years).
For me it boils down to the Nick Howell promotion and how Bronco's seemingly willing to fall on his sword for the guy despite it being obvious the guy's in way over his head.
