Can't a good team get credit for making adjustments at halftime?
Especially when you know a team is playing one-dimensional after having lost all their RBs? BYU had already thrown the ball 31 times in the first half alone with only 20 rushes. In the second half they threw another 32 times with only 19 rushes.

If Nevada has one strength on defense, they are 15th in the country in S&P+ on passing downs (2nd and 8 or more and 3rd or 4th and 5 or more). In the second half, we had 15 plays (out of 51 total) that were on passing downs and we only won 5 of them after a first half where we had 19 passing downs and won 9 of them.

Why does it have to always be negative? Nevada made some very good adjustments at halftime that helped them explode on offense (which is what they do well) and limit our offense to only 7 points by winning the passing downs.
