We put up 600 yards last game and 35 points. And our defense is getting destroyed game after game. Hill can't fix that. Obviously one single guy anywhere won't fix all problems, but I think having a dangerous DE would help the LBs. Every position feeds off of each others strengths and doing well. Our DEs do nothing to take the focus off of the LBs.

I think part of Fua being so effective last year was because there was someone else defenses were keying on. And KVN had Ziggy to help some. Our LBs literally have no help. Not saying Kaufusi is a great LB, but I think our guys might be a bit more productive if our DL wasn't awful.

Sure Hill helps, but having him doesn't take away the biggest problem. Look at Cal. They can put up 50, but their D will give up 51. Offense isn't our issue. No offence to Hill, but Stewart is just fine for it right now. We have much more of a complete team on offense than on defense.

If I had to pick just ONE, IMO that's where I'd go.
