I hate going in as much as any one and i did most of this over email.

first email 2 or 3 of the dealerships close to you. Let them know what you want see what price they can get you on the car. This saves hours in the dealership better to go back and forth over email and phone then in person. Also know your credit you can get your loan done this was as well, now you have the amount of the car you can go with them or your bank. I was in and out of the dealership in about 45 min but 15 of that was was chit chat.
