Scheduling agreement and bowl access
Not the perfect option but "if" TH could sell a scheduling agreement to a P5 Conference and some kind of access to their bowl games.
I don't see any P5 conference taking BYU due to the Sunday play issue. Too much baggage for the non revenue sports that play on Sunday and the associated travel to Provo for those teams. Big 12 moved east not west with the WV addition. Likely options for them are UCF, Cinncy or UCONN.
Maybe a football only P5 invite with some guaranteed hoops games as well is possible.
