The NCL cruise spends every single day in port at a different island. It also has overnights in Maui and Kuai so that you have several evenings and mornings to run the beach or whatever. Fly in the day before and do an overnight in Waikiki for another pure beach day or to see PH. The cruise basically just gives you a moving hotel room with all-inclusive food so that you know your bottom line before departing. The big drawback is that the hotel room rocks, so if that bothers you don't do it.
