I tried to walk on in hoops my frosh year...tried out with 40 other guys
Was a high school hero, etc, but I was 6'3", and weighed 170 lbs and had no business playing D1 hoops.
Of the 40 guys that tried out, 20 were better than I was.
And they took nobody of the 40 who tried out for the team.
I was bummed...for like a day.
Didn't affect my fanhood in the least.
