a lot.
Historically speaking, there is no argument. USU is not good, and BYU is top 25 program. Anderson was a godsend for you guys. He's a great coach and that is why he is coaching at a great school now. He got you your first bowl game and win in how long? He got you your first ranking in how long (or ever, I don't remember now). He somehow recruited and developed guys that went to the NFL. Those are all things BYU does regularly, but for USU to achieve them was a HUGE improvement. The last 5 years have seen BYU not getting many guys in the NFL, not being ranked regularly, not beating our rival who we used to beat with regularity, and even losing to USU TWICE. It is a sad state of affairs when those facts above are the reality for BYU.
USU has improved a lot to be where they have been the last few years. BYU has declined in performance on the field the last few years especially in games vs Utah and USU. Geoff Martzen has had a good impact since he's been here and hopefully he can help us rectify some of those issues but he doesn't coach. More than anything we need to have players better prepared for game day.
