Pretty sure I've decided to cut the cord on cable and sat...
I was going to stay with Dish if they could give me a better deal now that I am out of contract. They offered crap. So then I was going to switch to Fios, bundled with my existing service. But now I am leaning toward cutting TV subscription.

We've done it before so it won't be a shock to any of us. Most of what the family watches is available through AppleTV, Netflix, Hulu, or AmazonPrime so not a lot of content is lost there. Basically it is the live sports that I'll miss.

The MLS is apparently going to be tied to WatchESPN, which I'll still have. It'll just be tougher to get the college football and basketball.

My setup before was an indoor antenna in the attic. Now we have a taller house so I'm wondering if you've all had good luck with indoor OTA on the second story or should I go through the effort to mount outdoors. Most of the channels are in Dallas about 30 miles away. Also, is there a better OTA DVR option than TiVo and their subscription plan?
