I think many on this board are equating the MWC's TV-contract with their football. Sure they have bad teams, but every conference has those. But even Colorado State even won the MWC 3 times (yeah, that dumpy CSU).

Want the embarrassing stat? It only took TCU 7 seasons to match BYU's MWC football championships. That means they only missed out on 3, instead of 8, like BYU.

The MWC would have qualified as BC$ had Utah and TCU stayed. Honestly, I think that was partially why they were "invited" away, to keep the money in the coffers of the current P5.

So in short, our Indy schedules are generally heavily loaded up front, but one can argue most of the schedules have been weaker through mid October-November than the MWC.
