In 2007, just for example, was an easier schedule than this year. OOC big games were Arizona and UCLA (both teams ended the season with losing records). Tulsa and Eastern Washington rounded out the non conference.

In conference, neither TCU nor Utah were great that year.

For all the whining about the schedule, BYU has not played one horrible team this year (UCONN). The rest are better than middle of the road MWC teams (well, USU down to third string QB may fall off the map now).
