Being cutting edge works when you have the players to run it. When Taysom broke his leg the offense fell apart and will continue to struggle because BYU is having to settle for QBs who transfer into the program instead of recruiting top tier QBs who are physically adept at the skills to run GFGH. So, the cutting-edge system fails due to missing talent. It's funny that trying something new backfires because we don't have the player(back-up QB) to run it.
