If you go to trunk or treat I think you should still give out candy on Halloween

In my So Cal ward, the families do both the trunk or treat at the ward and trick or treating on Halloween. I don't like having to do a separate costume night and having my kids get extra candy, so I would be happy to kill the whole thing and just focus on Halloween.

I am a bit more sympathetic when families are trying to determine what to do when Halloween falls on Sunday.
