My grandpa was called to be the "fundraising coordinator" over the ward building they were building in his area (many many years ago). He took the money and invested in stock in his company, which he had some inside information was likely to go nuts. The stock did go nuts, and he raised all of the money to build the building in a matter of months. He then went to the bishop and said he had the funds. When the bishop asked how he raised the money and he explained it, the bishop was upset...but he still took the money. And my grandpa was not reprimanded. All worked out well. Maybe someone should accidentally give TH a beer. Or maybe he can drink some O'Doul's non-alcoholic beer...
