There are a lot of people willing to jump onto the bandwagon of "fire Bronco" because they think it'll be easy. I think that it's risky and only done if entirely necessary. Bronco has done a great job for BYU.
However, if the rumors are true, this is yet another year where Bronco has allowed the team to be divided.
The last time this happened I thought it was because of a coach (Jaime Hill) or maybe a prima donna player (Jake Heaps) or maybe a QB controversy (Riley Nelson vs Jake Heaps). This year--there are no excuses. His guy is the DC. To my knowledge, there are no prima donna players on the team, and the QB situation is crystal clear (...and led by a Senior who should be a great leader given his background...).
I just don't get it. Bronco's approach should work. He's gotten BYU a lot of talent. He's brought the program back to its roots (tradition, spirit, honor). He's done great things with the fanbase and bringing exposure to the church, but his group of hard working, disciplined, and gritty guys never seem to put it all together at the same time.
