...we weren't running the read option, we had a couple of 4 star QBs on missions (Lark and Munns) and were recruiting Jake Heaps and in Max Hall's senior season with Riley getting backup reps, Coaches probably felt like they had the position covered. I can't fault them for that even though none of the players either panned out or were developed into being good QB's by the coaching staff (take your pick).
