He does have some integrity - if he hadn't heard anything he would have said it
There's 2 reasonable possibilities: either he didn't hear anything or that he heard it from someone else.
I don't believe for a second that Bronco just made up the damage and shredded comments himself. He sometimes puts his foot in his mouth to be sure, but I don't believe he fabricates injury status.
