The middle to bottom of byu's classes haven't been good enough. We typically fill out our classes with 5 or so kids who don't have many other offers and seldom turn into starters. For example, the 4 jc OL we brought in a few years ago because Weber ' s prior ol recruiting wasn't good, only Wesley was a bonafide player. Also we have signed our fair number of lowly rated dl at the last minute, none of them very good. Last year and this year is the first time in awhile that we are getting better dl recruits. Scheme, academics, and Yewtah doesn't help the dl recruiting.

As far as Yewtah, their PAC affiliation will give them huge advantages to recruits we simple don't have.
