The difference is, Bronco said he recruits players who want to play for BYU. In other words he looks for payers who are recruiting BYU. How hard is it to recruit players actually want to be at BYU? Need more aggressive recruiting of non-LDS players who don't know for sure where they want to go.

I would love to see what kind of teams the U and USU could put together using the same recruiting restrictions and limitations BYU faces. They could tell some super jock athlete from south Alabama (or some where) all about the honor code. No beer or other alcohol, no drugs, no premarital sex and no late parties. Must attend firesides and take religious classes. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA and abide by dress standards. As it stands right now, probably 90% of the players at the U and USU would not qualify. So is it surprising we are being out recruited by just about every other D-1 school? Oh, we get enough good athletes to fill the starting line-up, but it pretty much stops there. We can't get athletes who can step in for injured starters. We just hurt for quality depth.
