Me too. I'm a much happier person being less intense as a BYU fan.
A BYU loss used to ruin my entire weekend.
I also went through a depression when TCU got our invitation to the Big 12.
Now that I use the money I would have spent on BYU football toward a vacation for me & my wife every year, I'm a much happier person. Being less invested (literally), watching the games on TV instead of buying season tickets, and always having a fun vacation to look forward to definitely takes the sting away from what appears to be BYU's slide to irrelevance.
However, I still HATE that utah is in the club while BYU is left on the outside.
