Great dogs.great family dog, smart, trainable, people friendly. Kids will love him/her.

Doodles are expensive. Should be groomed every few months. They have hair, not for that sheds. They are very prone to getting matting which hurts them. HIGH maintenance. Weekly brushing, or regular grooming. Maybe your willing to learn to do this yourself but 65.00 every couple of months adds up on top of vet, food, chewed up stuff costs.

Sucks finding a way to take care of them when you go out of town. They have lab in them so they will dig, dig, dig, If left alone in the yard with nothing to do. They need lots of attention as they are people dogs. Make sure your committed to working with them daily.

Overall great dog and experience. Be prepared for 2 years of wondering why you thought it wold be a good idea. Year 3 with doodles becomes much easier.
