How many LDS attorneys advertise their list of priorities, bragging that their
law practice is actually fourth or fifth on their list of priorities? That's laughable. Obviously, there are many things more important than a law practice. However, that's just not something you advertise. When a client comes through the door, there should not be a caveat such as: "Hey, just so you are aware, I put God, Church, family and friends ahead of my employment. So, down the road if there's a choice about working hard on your case or being with my family, you're going to lose that one. Hopefully, there won't be any conflicts and I'll be able to get you better than average results." No decent attorney would do that. The clients want to feel like their case is the most important case, and that their attorney is "fully invested," so to speak.

If that little speech scares off the client, the attorney could then use this method to close the deal.
