Sugar, or some form of sugar, is the #2 ingredient in nearly every processed food you buy at the store. Sugar in tomato sauce. Sugar on raisins in raisin bran. We're so used to the taste that we just expect it, and even worse, we crave it. Sugar is incredibly addictive.

Our bodies are not meant to eat a lot of sugar.

The sugar lobby is MASSIVE in this country, and we as taxpayers pay a huge subsidy to sugar producers, and we are all paying much more in healthcare to the poor because they eat processed garbage and then get fat and die young.

I'm disappointed that CB hasn't been more vocal about this travesty of corporate welfare.
