Correct on the horribly wasteful corporate welfare point. Incorrect on the
"Sugar is teh Debil!!" point. I remember Sister Christensen (wife of MTC president Joe J., circa 1981) giving us that same lame lecture when we got to the MTC. It was silly, then, and it's silly now.
America's problem is that we eat too much of ALL foods, not just fats, sugars or proteins. And we eat too much processed foods. And then we don't move around as much as we used to. The end result is fat diabetics.
