It's interesting fans are complaining about these rules. However, players actually involved (perhaps not all) have commented on how they need to be accountable and correct their mistakes. This doesn't sound like castrated or emasculated individuals, at least to me?
Having played sports, some of you might be shocked at what programs require of athletes and why. And surprisingly, most of the time it actually builds character and team unity.
I don't know the circumstances surrounding the earrings and I would doubt many if not all of us on this board really know. Was it the final straw or the first straw in helping a young man understand team rules?
Be glad BYU has a three strike approach, I have been part of less.
