The turncoats don't respect rivalries, history, etc.
I respect fans who hang with their team through the good years and the bad. It's best when they've got some connection to the team, but a long held loyalty to a team through bad years can trump that.
If a fan isn't a bandwagoner, the only thing that makes them obnoxious is being overly vocal about wins. There's a certain line between good natured cheering or ribbing and gloating or being a jerk.
