For the love of humanity -- read what I wrote.
1. I specifically said I am okay with guys defending someone who is getting attacked. To be even more clear, I'll defend our players INVOLVED IN THE ALTERCATION. 56 was getting absolutely mauled, and dangerously so. These IS NOT the problem.
2. I specifically said that the Memphis guys completely overrated to the shove. 56 was not to blame FOR THE BRAWL. But his shove started the CHAIN that led to the BRAWL!!
3. I'm not personally embarrassed. But I think basically any good press for BYU = good for the church; and bad press for BYU = bad press for the church.
