This is very interesting to me.
It has been during the Whittingham versus Mendenhall years that we have come to accept that Utah will have superior talent. It did not always used to be that way. Utah overtook us in talent before going to the PAC 12, an advantage that one would expect to increase the talent they could attract.
Meyer and Whittingham vaulted the level of talent at Utah over that of BYU. Whittingham has obviously been there the longest.either he gets a big chunk of credit for the Utes' increase in talent, or bronco gets some blame for the swing in top players between the two schools
