You're being blinded by a single game that wasn't even played this year.

If KWhitt can both take Bronco's job and get Bronco to go coach at a school that we can schedule to play every season, then sure, BYU will have taken a step up. But on the whole, KWhitt has an average Sagarin ranking of 34 to Bronco's 32. And that's with KWhitt dominating Bronco in 6 of 9 games.

It's too bad there are 12 and not just 1 game in a season, cause otherwise it'd be a no brainer to fire Bronco and hire KWhitt.
