Tips/tricks for getting odors out of car carpets? EDIT
No need to get into details about how, because I'm still really upset about it, but a bunch of "garbage juice" (the liquid at the bottom of a week-old garbage bag) leaked all over the interior of my car.

At first the smell was so bad that I had to drive with the windows down. I cleaned the floor mats (all-weather, so it was pretty easy), vacuumed the carpet, shampooed the carpet (twice, with Turtlewax brand shampoo and plenty of scrubbing with a hard bristle brush), sprayed crap tons of double strength odor removing Febreeze, and put an air freshener in the car. However, the smell of garbage remains.

Any tips/tricks on how to get the smell out of my car? Baking soda? Charcoal? I'm getting pretty desperate.

And, selling the car isn't an option. One reason why I'm really upset about it is the car is less than six months old... It's an SUV if that matters (don't know why it should).
